Europe

Europe has the largest share of CISAC’s membership and accounts for more than half of the total collections of CISAC societies globally.

As of June 2026, CISAC had 113 member societies in Europe. This region currently comprises 50% of our global membership.

In Europe, 50 authors societies focus primarily on the management of rights in musical works, 32 in audiovisual, 21 in the visual arts, 7 in literature, 1 in drama and 2 associate societies without repertoire.
