Europe

Europe has the largest share of CISAC’s membership and accounts for more than half of the total collections of CISAC societies globally. The region has seen collections slump due to the COVID-19 crisis in 2020

As of May 2024, CISAC had 110 member societies in Europe. This region currently comprises 49% of our global membership.

In Europe, 51 author societies focus primarily on the management of rights in musical works, 29 in audiovisual, 20 in the visual arts, 6 in literature, 1 in drama and 3 without repertoire.
