Canada/USA

Canada-US is the second largest region in the world for creators’ collections. Music collections account for the vast majority of revenues and the region has seen exceptionally fast growth in digital collections in recent years. 

As of June 2026, CISAC had 12 member societies in Canada and the USA. This region currently comprises 5% of our global membership.  In Canada/USA, 5 authors societies focus primarily on the management of rights in musical works, 4 in audiovisual and 3 in the visual arts.
