A tribute to Jean-Marie Moreau

CISAC is deeply sad to announce the death of Jean-Marie Moreau, French creator, former president of SACEM and one of the main figures of CIAM (the International Council of Creators of Music) for many years. Passionate supporter of collective management and authors’ rights, he was a true believer in international cooperation and solidarity. For many years he travelled the world to defend and support the rights of creators with passion, tirelessly. Jean-Marie was a goodhearted person, gentle and kind. A good friend of CISAC, loved by everyone who crossed his path. Our thoughts are with his family and friends.
