CISAC Vice-President Angelique Kidjo wins Grammy award

CISAC is delighted to announce that the confederation's Vice President, talented African songwriter and performer Angelique Kidjo, won a Grammy Award yesterday for “Best World Music Album” with her album Eve. This is the second Grammy awarded to Kidjo.

In a powerful statement made at the award ceremony, she dedicated the album “to the women of Africa, their beauty and resilience.”
