CISAC Director General Gadi Oron today saluted the Confederation’s former President Jean-Michel Jarre:

“Today the CISAC community congratulates Jean-Michel Jarre on his prestigious and richly-deserved Légion d’honneur, awarded by the President of France. During his seven-year tenure as President of CISAC which ended last year, Jean-Michel was a tireless champion for culture and the creative sector. He gave immense energy and time to his role as the global voice of creators, successfully leading campaigns that strengthened authors’ rights. The international creative community, and the network of CISAC societies in more than 120 countries owes Jean-Michel an enormous debt for all he has done to improve the lives of creators across the world.”
