CISAC Board Chair Marcelo Castello Branco: we need to be comfortable with discomfort and embrace innovation

At the CISAC General Assembly in Seoul, Board Chair and UBC CEO Marcelo Castello Branco spoke of the challenges facing the CISAC community, the need for constant adaptation and the example set by Korea and KOMCA in setting the pace of change.

“We had better be comfortable being uncomfortable and embrace innovation without hesitation. It is even hard to talk about global regulation when technology does not give us a break; this is the new landscape we must deal with and it is going to take some time before we sort it out”
