The Spanish General Society of Authors and Publishers (SGAE), through its foundation, has created a solidarity account aimed at helping the society's members affected by the deadly floods (DANA) that has devastated different towns in the country, with catastrophical outcomes in the Valencian Community and Castilla La Mancha.

The bank account details in which contributions can be made is:

ES55 0030 1006 6000 0365 1271

Recipient: SGAE Foundation

SGAE has allocated a total of 100,000 euros to the Red Cross and Caritas, 50,000 euros to each of these non-governmental organisations (NGOs), with the aim of contributing to repairing the damage suffered and helping the affected citizens.

Since last Monday, 4 November, the technicians of the Social and Assistance Area of SGAE have been contacting their affected members to find out their priorities and thus provide a more precise and effective response to their needs.

SGAE will also make the entity's legal services available to advise them on official aid and insurance coverage, and a team of psychologists.

SGAE pledges its support, solidarity and affection for the people affected by this catastrophy.
