JASRAC Announces New Officers and Executive Team

On 7 July, JASRAC announced its new officers and executive team. The Japanese authors’ society has elected Haku Ide as the new JASRAC Chairman. Shunichi Tokura, his predecessor, assumes the position of Executive Advisor.

JASRAC has also announced its new executive officers, who were appointed for a two-year term at the society’s General Assembly held on 29 June 2016. Michio Asaishi has been appointed as President. Mashiro Miyawaki has been appointed as Managing Director. Kazumasa Izawa and Naofumi Nakatogawa are appointed as Directors. Mitsuo Sugawara, Makoto Watanabe and Kazunori Tomimoto have retired from their former respective roles as President, Managing Director and Director.

Michio Asaishi now represents JASRAC on the CISAC Board of Directors.
