Ann Sweeney announced as BMI's Senior Vice President of Global Policy

Broadcast Music, Inc. has announced that Ann Sweeney will be the company's new Senior Vice President of Global Policy, effective immediately.

In this newly-created position based in BMI's New York office, Sweeney will oversee the company's Government Relations and International efforts, while continuing to protect and promote the rights of songwriters, composers and music publishers.

She will also lead BMI's effort to secure global royalties on behalf of their creators.
