Artificial Intelligence is rapidly reshaping the global music sector, raising new questions around creation, rights, remuneration and the future role of human authorship. In Latin America, creators are now being invited to share how these changes are affecting their work.

ALCAM, the Latin American Alliance of Music Composers and Authors, has launched the first regional study examining the impact of AI on the music industry across Latin America. Through its MUSIC + AI survey, the organisation aims to better understand how creators are using AI tools in their creative processes and how the wider music ecosystem is adapting to the technology’s rapid development.

Open until 31 July, the survey seeks input from creators across the region and will provide insights into how Artificial Intelligence is influencing musical creation, professional practices and industry dynamics.
