CISAC VP Kazuhiko Fukuoji and Shunichi Tokura, Commissioner at Agency for Cultural Affairs Japan discuss stronger creators’ right in the Asia-Pacific region

CISAC Vice-President Kazuhiko Fukuoji met with Shunichi Tokura, Commissioner at Agency for Cultural Affairs Japan to discuss stronger rights for creators in the Asia-Pacific region. Discussions centered on measures to improve copyright awareness, creation of a fairer legal environment for visual artists, Resale Right and the Art Bazaar in Japan and in the Asia-Pacific region.

Fukuoji, a renowned Japanese visual artist elected as CISAC Vice-President on 1st June 2023, also discussed his role and mission as CISAC Vice-President which is to ensure the voices of creators are heard by policy makers in the region.
