CISAC representative speaks at international conference on collective management of copyright in Azerbaidjan

CISAC Director of Business Standards and Rules Sylvain Piat spoke at two-day International Conference dedicated to Collective Management of Copyright and Related Rights in Baku, Azerbaijan.

Organised by the Azerbaijan Authors Society (AAS), the event attracted participants from collective management organisations, state institutions and other organisations, who discussed the benefits of effective copyright protection, as well as the current challenges in Azerbaijan.

Emphasis was on the proper licensing of the music events, in light of the upcoming European Games to be held in Baku from 12-28 June.
