SSA Celebrates 30 years! (sólo en inglés)
On 19 June, Société Suisse des Auteurs (SSA), an author society that manages the rights of dramatic and audiovisual works in Switzerland since 1985, celebrated its anniversary in Lausanne with a colourful artistic program and many guests from the cultural world.
At its annual general meeting also held on that day, the assembly of members re-elected renowned filmmaker, Denis Rabaglia as Chairman of the Board of Directors of SSA for another term (three years).
CEO Jürg Ruchti presented very good results, with 2014 royalty collections amounting to CHF 21.3 million, up 1.47%. The administrative cost rate was reduced for the third year in row.
During the evening celebrations, the world-renowned Mummenschanz, Bernie Schürch and Floriana Frassetto, who have been members of SSA since it was established, highlighted how important the support of their authors’ society has been in the success of their artistic career.
